Dell Optiplex GX520 Random Reboot and Startup Issues

We have Optiplex GX520 PC's that randomly will reboot and sometimes will not go through entire boot process. The reboot occurs at different times, sometimes using word, excel,AOL client or Just surfing the net and sometimes right after login it reboots. I have loaded all the latest drivers, Made sure it has the latest BIOS still same issue. I am running Windows XP Pro. Anyone has seen this ? If someone has a fix please let me know. Anything odd in the event logs? Type eventvwr in the run dialog box (Start, Run) and take a peek and see if anything is being troublesome.

Dear Friend,

I got same problem with 7 unit PC Dell GX520nDT ( China Made In) at 5 different place. User complain that their Dell GX 520 suddenly reboot. We delivered those PC one year ago ,But problem occured in same time too after 1 year.

I have searched from internet that Dell GX 520 having problem with the cell phone that located near CD ROM. (see this video !!!!)
But problem that occured at my location is not same with that video ( magic dell 520), no cell phone interference

I ask some users to change power cable between CPU & monitor. Problem still occured on 5 user. Any Dell solution? is there any Power Suply problem with GX520nDT?

Thanks,

Hi,
MY COMPANY IS ALSO HAVING ISSUES WITH GX 520'S SHUTTING DOWN. tHEY DO NOT RESTART BUT INSTEAD GO TO YELLOW POWER LIGHT SYNDROME. IF YOU HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 10 SEC AND TURN BACK ON IT WILL COME ON FOR AN  INDEFINATE AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE DOING IT AGAIN. DELL DIAGNOSTIC CD COMES BACK CLEAN. NO ERRORS IN EVENT VIEWER. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO 3 TODAY AND PROB 10-15 TOTAL IN THE PAST CPL MONTHS. ANY IDEAS, DELL???
