Dimension 9150 won't boot after setting up RAID1

After going into setup and setting RAID on, installing two new hard drives and using Ctrl I to enter RAID Configuration Utility, I created a RAID volume as follows:

RAID Volumes:

ID                 Name                       Level                       Strip             Size                   Status             Bootable

0                   Volume0                  RAID1(Mirror)         N/A               232.9GB           Normal             Yes

Physical Disks:

Port            Drive                                  Serial Number                     Size                  Type/Status (Vol ID)

0                 WDC WD2500AAKX-0      WD-WCCxxxxxxxxx            232.9GB           Member Disk (0)

1                 WDC WD2599AAKX-0      WD-WCCxxxxxxxxx            232.9GB           Member Disk (0)

I began installing Windows XP Pro, and all seemed normal until the first reboot, and I received the following message:

"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.

Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.

Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."

In the boot sequence I have selected "Intel Volume0" as the first  boot device. Under drives both drives are showing up as on and being controlled by the RAID BIOS.

What am I not doing?! Thanks for any and all help!

In setup I changed from "RAID on" to "RAID detect/AHCI" now the installation appears to be going normally. Will advise.
