E773 Help

Hello All :3.

Recently my computer crashed and I had to wipe my computer (and all my files with it). Whereas that went mostly ok, My Resolution is now stuck on 640 by 480.

The resolution I want it to be on (1280 by 720) Is not  even an option, nor is any other resolution. And this res it is stuck on makes EVERYTHING huge and very inconvenient. I would very much appreciate if someone could help me with this problem PLEASE :smileyindifferent:

What model of Dell are you using?  Integrated video?  Please post and I'll link you to the appropriate file.

Good Luck

Without posting your service tag, what Dell model are you using.  It looks like you didn't reinstall your chip-set drivers for your machine.

It says on the back of the monitor " Model No: E773s".

Is that right or should I be looking somewhere else for a longer modle title then that?

I'm sorry but these numbers don't reveal the model of Dell pc you are using.

Are you using for example a Dell Dimension 4550?  That is the information I'm trying to find out for you.

Good Luck

Where can I find that information to know it's one of those? Where on/in the computer do I look that it would say one of those?

The model # you were giving, put it in the search the forum search box, and found previous posts refering to the link I provided. Took about 20 seconds. Do it yourself to see if that's what you have.
