Ethernet Controller not detected.
I recently re installed Windows 7 from a formatted HDD. I have installed all of the correct drivers in the correct order and still cannot access the internet. Under device manager I keep getting the same error icon and error code that says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)." How do I resolve this issue? Thanks.

You need to install the drivers for that device. One option if you have access to a wireless network is to use a wireless network adapter to connect to the Internet, which will then allow Windows 7 to seek it out and download it online.
If that's not an option or you don't have access to a wireless network, you'll need to download the drivers yourself. What model is your Dell?

I have already downloaded the drivers. I have spend the better part of 10hours trying drivers that don't work from Dell's site. My model is a Dell Precision T1500.

Okay, that worked. I used a USB Network connector and have connected the computer to the internet. Thanks for the help!
