Need help ordering correct processor for Optiplex GX260
I've got a Dell Optiplex Tower GX260 with a 62YVH Socket 478 motherboard, but no processor. The socket assembly says "mPGA478B". I can't find any specs on the motherboard that would tell me the exact processor specs for the board. I want to make sure that the Socket 478 processor I get is compatible with the board. Does anyone know who made this board and that vendor's part number? I'm guessing it's an Intel board, but I can't find an Intel product number or any other vendor's markings for that matter.

Perhaps I relied on previous posts from others for Northwood vs. Prescott compatibility and did not realize that someone may misconstrue what I suggested to use.
Maybe I wasn't specific enough, so I will clarify my post:
To SPEEDSTEP:
You are correct that Prescott CPUs cannot be used on the GX260 mobo.
The SL6PG CPU I mentioned that I am using in my GX260 is a NORTHWOOD according to my CPU data list.
I did not mention any other CPU, only the one that I know I have that is working.
I believe the SL6S5 is the only other 3.06 GHz Northwood.
I just wanted to post that the Hyper-Threading feature of the 3.06 GHz CPU is more desireable over lesser speed CPUs that do not have it.
Sorry if I caused any confusion to uneducated persons seeking advice.
