Outdated Vga drivers

Hi there, i got a XPS M1710, and allmost every game i try (new ones) like Timeshift, crysis and steam says that my Vga drivers are outdated. I got my drivers from dell's homepage and as i can see they are from Feb 07.. old indeed.

I've tried drivers from Tweakforce.com and Laptopvideo2go.com but none of them works for my Geforce Go 7950GTX.

I cant even play Timeshift on my "gaming" laptop because i get a bluescreen when its loading.

So my qestion is, does DELL have any future plans on making some new drivers? If so please notify me so i play on my gaming laptop...

Hey there,

I also have a "gaming laptop" thats useless without the drivers... I have not tried the new games besides Bioshock. The Dell limited tested drivers found a little further down on the download 7950GTX drivers page caused my games to close prematurely, so i have had to roll back to the Feb drivers.

Hopefully Dell will sort this out as I'm keen to go shopping soon for Crysis etc....

You might want to get the Video card drivers from the Video card manufacture web site http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us  or try this site http://downloads.guru3d.com/  I don't know what OS you have I assume Vista 32 bit, just click the link for the OS you have the ForceWare 169.04 Vista 32-bit they are supposed to be the newest recommended driver for Crysis and TimeShift.

go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com download the driver and appropriate inf file an boom your good to go with all the latest and greatest. Just a word of caution though, you may not be able to utilize all of your mobiliy features with your current drivers. **if your not grabbing the INF file as well then thats why the drivers don't work I have a 1710 and it works just fine from that site Josh

2 things
1) Who wants vista when xp works better?
2) As i said in my first post, i've allready tried all those 3 party drivers from Laptopvideo2go,tweakforce you name it. Neverwinter nights got so much graphic glitches and screen tearings i couldnt even see what was happening.. If you got your M1710 to work, please post a link to the driver you used+the inf file.

i would be very happy :-)

And to dell if they ever read on theese forums, Get a grip of yourself and update those drivers!
