Precision T7400 - memory riser bracket and memory fan bracket don't fit?
Hello there, I have a Dell Precision T7400 but when I try to mount the CD672 memory riser bracket, there is an extremely hot heatsink blocking the upper left corner from lining up.
Is there another piece that goes in between the memory bracket and the motherboard, or do I have the incorrect part for my system?

R5500 actually looks even more interesting, provided you use a dual DVI extender to another room

Any updates on this? I am looking to buy the parts (including CD672) and I want to know if I am going to run into any issues with the risers fitting in my t7400

Hello there, I still need to take the cover off and get some photos. I'll do that as soon as I get a chance; feel free to send email: <ADMIN NOTE : Email id removed per Privacy policy>
However, one more point I would like to make - I have pretty much given up on DDR2 ECC for now since the memory is so expensive that it isn't worth using. DDR3 at a little over $10 per gigabyte is more than 2x faster and 1/3 cheaper than DDR2 which is over $30 for 667 mhz ("Black Diamond" pricing, 8GB sticks). So lets say you wanted 64GB memory - the memory for a T7400 would be $2k alone, and around $700 for a DDR3 system.
So I am probably going to trash my T7400 and do a T5500 next.
