White flashing battery light

I have a Precision T 1650  desk top and notice a blinking white battery light.  How do I replace this battery?  The on off button is solid white and everything seems to be working fine.

Where are you seeing the blinking battery light?

The only battery in the T1650 is on the motherboard and I'm not aware of any light that blinks when that battery is low.  If it is the motherboard battery, check the manual on page 12 for instructions to replace the 3-volt CR2032 lithium ion battery.

But I'm wondering if that blinking light is actually telling you something about the battery in an uninterruptible power supply that may be connected to the PC...?

Yes. I just added a battery back up.   So that is ok that is blinking.   It's below the ports

Hi Kdcemri,

Is the white light just below the last USB port? Because it's probably the Hard Drive activity light. The manual here shows the location of the light.

The light flashes, can be solid when the Hard Drive is doing activity. There's no issue with the light flashing or being solid as that is normal.
