WinDVD MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close, error message.

I have a Dimension 4700 Desktop, I purchased a new LCD Dell monitor, and a new graphic card evga GeForce 9400 GT 1GB memory,and downloaded a new ESD DVD&MP3  X Pack decoder from Corel. Every time I put a DVD to play a movie the error box comes up WINDVD MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. No matter what I try it never starts the movie, something is clashing with the WINDVD and its causing the error to appear every time I try to play a DVD movie. I need help to get rid of this error box, anything like a patch or download something to clear this error.
