File ownership?

We are trying to determine the owner of all files of a certain type on an extended drive. I looked at the FLR reports and it has the owner listed as unknown for a lot of files. I ran a file report in DX and file owner didn't show up on the report. Is there a way I can get file owner without fetching the file?
