ECS S3 log file

Hello,

I'm trying to find the S3 logs through the terminal so that I can check for any incorrect requests from particular software. Does anyone know where the logs are located and what the log file is called where S3 writes the errors?

Thanks!

    Hello Nkarshev,

The default location for the logs are:

    /opt/emc/caspian/fabric/agent/services/object/main/log

If you are tech support or Partners then you will want to look at the dataheadsvc.log to review the errors that are seen.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your question.

Do you have a syslog server setup for it? Page 162 https://www.delltechnologies.com/asset/en-us/products/storage/technical-support/docu95698.pdf
