Latitude7350 WinPE

I'm having a strange issue trying to image this unit with a Dell FM76N USB NIC adapter using SCCM 2012 R2.

PXE boot works fine but on loading the WinPE image, the NIC is actually loaded as a read only CDROM, which allows access to some built in drivers on the NIC itself.

Unplugging and replugging the NIC recognizes the device as a NIC and gets an IP address however this is obviously not a long term resolution, remotely triggering a rebuild will fail.

Is this a known issue? I've added the drivers for the USB NIC to the WinPE image and it appears to be correct. Unplu / Replugging the device will allow me to complete the Tasksequence as normal.
