m6600 Win7 A04 cab - doesn't work thru MDT

anyone else seeing an issue where the m6600 A04 cab will import to MDT 2010 ok, but after regenerating the boot images, and using that to try and boot the computer for deployment, apparently some driver is not loading correctly. The "Windows is loading files..." bar completes to 100% and then it just stops, never connecting to MDT.

other machines work ok so its not a network issue. I'm seeing now if the A02 version of this cab will work...

I haven't see the issue with that specific cab.  You should check your setupapi.dev.log to see which device is not loading properly.

I would love to check that file...if it existed on the computer. The issue is the cab's I've downloaded from Dell doesn't allow the computer to boot to the MDT. I create the boot cd, and  as the computer is booting from that cd the bar goes across that says "Windows is loading files...". It should then boot to the MDT screens but never does.

If the system isn't completing the initial boot into WinPE, then you need to review your boot media as the Driver CAB isn't even in play yet.  What other systems does this boot media work with?

I used an old m4600 boot cd to boot into mdt in load the m6600 with and it worked fine, it's actually just completed deploying win7. We have lots of other systems that work well with mdt (6520, 6420, 6400, m4500, 6320, t3500, etc...)
