In the screen wherer it says "Windows cannot be installed to Disk 1 Partition1" is the Next button greyed out ?
If not greyed out, you can press it and installation will continue to the specified partition
[like you did in BiOS boot mode]
But I guess it was greyed out, else you would have tried it
