I have some problems with the installation of the Windows 7 x86 driver from Nvidia Quadro 2000 video card via SCCM. I've tried different driver versions from the dell page but nothing was good for me.
What kind of error are you seeing? What version of the driver are you using? I've recently seen some issues with the Win7 Nvidia drivers where they don't like to be installed via .inf install when the bits are on a remote share (i.e. the same way SCCM uses them).
I don't realy see any error messages. When I try to install the the driver over a remote share with the INF file so the installation seems to be ok. But if I reboot the PC so I don't see the new driver installed (standard vga video driver)
Your statement meet my experience with the driver installation. I tried the latest version from the Nvidia homepage, R288698, R293394 and R296953.
I had to go back to a version earlier than the 26x.xx Nvidia builds. I'm using a 191.xx driver in the Win7 Desktop Combo Cab R272463. I'm not sure if it works with the Quadro 2000 but I know the 191.xx driver works with SCCM.
