Another SANHQ 3.1 thread!
I've read through some of the others regarding what appears to be bad reporting of capacity info, and triggering alerts erroneously, but I don't recall seeing this specific info. After simply ignoring SANHQ for a while I took another look and discovered something new (to me). The issue I've been seeing is that thin volumes that are not above warning/critical thresholds (80/90% utilization respectively) are getting alerts indicating that they are.
This is because SANHQ is looking at the wrong data. The screenshot below illustrates what's happening, which is that the in-use value of the reserve statistic is being evaluated for the alert, rather than the actual in-use value of the volume.
SANHQ use to be so great, and now it's practically useless. Please fix this.
