Failed to save persistent login information

Hi,

we've currently got a EquiLogic PS4000

But we've been having problems with the persistent connection, in that when one of the client boxes that connects to the Nas reboots, it fails to persist the ISCSI connection and we have to manually "Log on" the connection to the drive, one of these boxes is Win2K3 Server - SQL Server 2008, the other Win2K3 Server IIS6

Also when Logging on the drive and ticking the box for maintaining a persistent connection we get the error "Failed to save persistent login information", googling this only seems to lead to a list of error codes from the initiator (we're currently using the latest MS one for Windows)

we've recently upgraded the firmware to 5.04 to try and fix the problem, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference to the above. This is something that used to work, but due to some change that's been made (perhaps a firmware update) is no longer working

Which version of the HITKIT do you have installed? 3.5.1 was recently released. As this is the host-side software, maybe the newer version helps with your problem.

We're currently using the standard MS ISCSI initiator

Although we're now having a look to see if the HitKit could fix the problem, I'm assuming the HitKit is some kind of Dell implementation of an initiator
