Only use Java v6_Uxx (use the latest version, I think it’s u35). Do no use Java 7, uninstall if on the system trying to connect to the group with.
Clear both the internet temporary files, and clear the Java Cache (in the java control panel).
Telnet to the group ip, then type the following command:
Su exec “pm mem”
Look for the member “status” with the “(Online GL) “. This is the group lead. Try pointing the browser at one of the eth interfaces of this member, so see if the slow GUI is still there. If so, you may need to do a restart of the member to have the group elect a new group lead. Note that this will fail over to the passive controller on this member, so plan accordingly.
Then retest with the group IP. If still slow, open a support case.
