MPIO doesn´t work (I think)
Hello Everybody,
I have a EQL PS4100 configurated eth0 10.0.0.11, eth1 10.0.0.11 and Group IP 10.0.0.10
2x Switch Powerconnect 6224 with a extra vlan for ISCSI traffic.
A Poweredge R620 Server with Server2012 installed. It has two quadport NICs. I configured one port with 10.0.0.7 on one quadport card and one port 10.0.0.8 on the other one.
So far...I´ve created 2 volume.
On the Server2012 i configured the ISCI targets etc. and everything works fine.
But MPIO doesn´t work. I´ve installed the needed features and also HIT. Excluded all not needed Subnets. Setting is Round Robin
After a restart it seems that MPIO will work for exactly 5:34 min. I can see 3 Connections (why ever 3?!) on both IPs (10.0.0.7 & 10.0.0.8) in the Dell EQL MPIO Tab at the ISCI Initiator window and on the WebConsole it is also connect three times to every volume.
But after 5 min only 1 connection is still established.
Did i forgot something?
Hope anybody has an idea or advice for me.....
Greetings
Sven

Hello don,
the Version of the HIT Kit is 4.0.0.
So how i understand it, Round Robin is used to use multiple ways to the EQL from the Server, is that right.?
In the Remote Setup Wizard i can choose Rounf Robin as a default Load Balancing Policy.
You´re right its a typo, eth0 10.0.0.11 & eth1 10.0.0.12 is that what i meant to say.
