Thank you for the very good info. I realize that the current data I'm looking at isn't a good indication of SQL performance, but I will have to wait until this weekend to do testing like you describe. I also have opened a ticket with Dell. I forgot to mention that during the same time frame, IOPS is 600 read and 1200 write. Probably still not enough info to accurately judge performance, though. I'll post back when I run IOmeter.

It says avg IO size (KB) is 60 read and 110 write. Is that what you're looking for?
