PS6100E Member offline but data stores are still accessable
Hello,
Our Equalogic PS6100E is showing offline and so are the volumes. The strange thing is nothing is showing down in VMware and I can still see / browse datastores and log into VMs (perhaps because resident in memory?). Is it a RAID issue? Is it a simple reboot. I would hate to reboot and lose everything.
Dell support was unable to help since its out of warranty and could not provide pay per incident assistance :(

Hello,
I ended up restarting the SAN via command line. I forgot to update my fix on Dell forum but here is the same issue I reported on spiceworks

Hello,
If you are in the US you can open a one-time support call for a free.
They can help determine what the problem is. Commonly a faulted RAIDset
What RAID level are you using and what firmware revision?
