Replication to remote site, layer-3?
I have a PS4000 at Site A and am planning to purchase an additional PS4000 at a remote location Site B to replicate data for DR purposes. Site B will have redundant servers so I just need to replicate certain volumes.
I've seen some comments stating layer-3 connectivity is required between Groups for replication which is troubling. I would think thats only the case if you wanted servers at site A to use the volumes at Site B, but given I simply want servers at Site B to connect to the equallogic unit at Site B then can someone confirm all I need is the stanard iSCSI port open between the sites A & B to get the replication to work?

To add to dwilliams62, if you didn't use routing and instead shared the same subnet across the iSCSI networks at the 2 different sites, it could negatively impact performance and/or stability.
