replication
I just configured traditional replication between two dell equallogic ps 6000xv series arrays. I managed to move all vdi's i wanted to move. I first created volume collections and moved these in batches of the maximum limit of eight. i have just realized that from the source group i have used up so much space and i am running out. If i delete my volume collections will this disturb my replicated volumes on the partner? which i want to use with another machine to recover the replicated volumes. do i have to promote the replica collections to volumes before i attempt to boot from them?

ok great. but why have i lost so much space on the source group? How do i recover this space. i tried to delete one volume collection which was almost a terabyte but did not gain the space back on the group eq1. how can i recover back the space?
