SANHQ v 3.0 Critical Disk Error

Question

So i upgraded to SANHQ 3.0, and now one of my arrays give me these 15 'Errors': Priority Alert ID 'Estimated Time Detected' Duration Status DescriptionCritical 3.8 11-06-2013 12:03 8 hr 3 m. Active Critical: The current group firmware (6.0.1) is incompatible with the disk firmware on drive 15 for member SATAMEMBER1. Please contact your Dell support provider. Important disk support information: Model Number-SEAGATE ST31000340NS, Firmware Revision-XR38, and Serial Number-9QJ3AXGS I havnt seen this error in any of the older versions of SANHQ before. I spoke to Support, and the Engineer claimed, that there had been a replacement of those drives because of errors. But that they only contacted customers who have had over a certain amount of disks fail on them (we've only replaced one in 5 years). I just wanted to check up here, if anyone else has experienced this error. Im planning on upgrading to firmware 7.0 friday, and i do not want to run into trouble with a nonfunctioning array due to this error.

It fixed itself once i got 7.0 firmware on my arrays. Seems to be an issue with the specific drives, 6.0.1 and sanhq 3.0

Hi Don. Ive been looking for that update, but i cannot seem to find it for the ST31000340NS Disks. if possible, could you provide me with directions as to where it is? regards. christian

Yes i actually typed in the same as an answer last night but apparently there is a bug that deletes your message if you approve it yourself as an answer.

You are correct in that it got fixed with a newer firmware.
