VSM Upgrade to 6.0.0.27
Hi,
I try an upgrade VSM from 5 tom 6.xx.
After upgrade I get this ERROR:
ERROR: 'Premature end of file.'
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

Further I can't register the VSM to the vCenter..

Hello, I can think of two things.
You could re-install VSM.
Or check out the specification one more time. (configuration details)

Hello,
Could you also add in more details on how you are trying to upgrade VSM? What version of VSM v5 are you using?
If your VSM v5.is at current version, you can also do an upgrade in place. You do not have to deploy a new VSM v6.0 appliance. The instructions are in the documentation. But the short version is copy a file (SSH or FTP) to the VSM v5.x appliance and run an upgrade script. It will add the code needed for HTML5 GUI and register that plugin to vCenter. You can then use the new GUI while still maintaining the FLASH GUI as a backup.
