Equallogic and broadcom iscsi offload, when will it work?

Hey, well, since I just found out about this forum, I might as well dump my current issues and frustrations :) Broadcom iSCSI offload, and EQL don't work together. I got a definitive email from EQL support stating that its Broadcom's fault, and that's it.. I have some M600 blades with iSCSI offload functionality, that talk to an EQL PS5000E.. Well, for now the iSCSI offload adapters are disabled, and I'm using the iSCSI software initiator, because if you use the offload adapters, and the EQL sends a balancing request (disconnect), the Broadcom just looses connection to the volume, and that's pretty much it until you reboot the machine. Does anyone here have a clue if this might start to work in the future? Anyone with connections to Broadcom?

I did some testing recently with the broadcom iSCSI engine on the R805 and didn't have any problems. I was connecting to a four member PS5000XV group. The results are on this page:

Is the problem that you are seeing related to a certain performance threshold? Does it only occur with certain configurations? Is it specific to the Broadcom chip on the blades?
