Unable to Manage PowerVault MD3400

We have a PowerVault MD3400 hooked up to a SAN Environment.  However, I'm unable to even log into the device using the Storage Manager application I have installed.  It sees the array, but when I try to manage it I get the following error message...

The storage management software (version 11.10.0G06.0005) you are attempting to use is not compatible with the firmware on the RAID controller modules in Storage Array AFGPM-STORAGE-01.

If you have recently updated your RAID controller module firmware, you need to make sure its compatible storage management software has also been installed on all clients connected to this Storage Array.

If the appropriate version is not available, please provide your Customer Support Representative with the following information.

RAID Controller Module firmware version: 08.25.08.60
RAID Controller Module appware version: 08.25.08.60
Device API version required: devmgr.v1125api15.Manager

And the status of the array changes to Upgrade Software in the Storage Manager application.  That seemed straight-forward enough, so I selected Upgrade RAID Controller Module Firmware, thinking I would simply need to update the firmware.  However, when I did that, the window for firmware updates came up and told me...

The RAID Controller Module Firmware cannot be upgraded because the firmware version is no longer supports.  Consult the device documentation on how to perform a manual upgrade.

My first issue is can find no documentation on the manual upgrade process.  The second issue is that when I try to find a download for a newer version of firmware (theoretically something to match the 10.x.x.x in the MDSM software?), the newest download I can find is for a version that is OLDER than the one I currently have installed.

So I'm at a loss.  So, forgive any ignorance please!  Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.  If any more info is required from me, please let me know and I'll be happy to provide it.
