BCV devices as replicated DR R2?

according to page 36 in "Symmetrix Array Controls CLI" you can have an RDF2-BCV, RDF2-BCV+R-5 (if you are using RAID5 BCVs) and RDF2-BCV-Mir (if you are using 2-way Mirror BCVs)

Never talked about instant anything

Clone is an option ..Maybe customer doesn't have appropriate license or knowledge .. who knows

Curious as to why you want to use a BCV as the R2 target?

if somebody needed that instant restore ..wouldn't he rather use TF/Clone ?

Usually coz you want to restore data on a STD device
