powerpath issue

Question

Dears, We have recently installed powerpath for AIX 5.3 for the LUNs from DMX3.. but the AIX host by defult takes only the mpio .. thru smitty, we have disabled the mpio and removed the mpio paths and then configured powerpath .. no help . still taking mpio .. I need the multipathing to be handled only by powerpath .. please kindly assist me to sort this issue cheers

Hello,    Can you check and see that the array is managed by powerpath? A powermt display options should show.. knowledgebase article emc211547 may be helpful. Hope this helps,    Nollaig
