And sometimes it works even better when you just shut it down and leave it there, right dynamox? *lol*

Honestly, I wish Windows was a more stable predictable environment, but it certainly does have it's advantages as well. (Like the fact I've used it most of my professional life and understand it inside out).

If that doesn't do it for you I'd double check your initiator settings on the array. Make sure you are configured properly for a Windows host with Powerpath. Then I would check the Compatibility Matrix (eLab Navigator) again to make sure there are no "gotchas" for your specific configuration (e.g. Windows patches required, specific settings on the HBA, version of driver, etc.)

Thank you for all your suggestions, but uninstalling and reinstalling powerpath s/w worked for us.

I'm not sure y it showed up with 4 disks intially. Now we are good. Thank you all.

Sounds like one of those Windows quirks (well, to be fair this CAN happen on other operating systems as well). Something just didn't quite "take" on the first install so the OS was seeing the four paths to the device as separate physical devices.

Glad to hear you got it cleared up.
