24 pin to 8 pin adapter cable for Inspiron 3250?
Hi there,
I have an Inspiron 3250 that i'm planning to change some things up.
Is there a way that I can get a 24 pin connector to 8 pin connector so I can use an ATX Power supply to power up the motherboard?
I have seen these adapters around a lot but they usually do not support Inspiron desktops and only Optiplex.
Thanks!

20 pin ATX is not sufficent. You need 80 percent efficient 24 pin EPS12v power supply.

MODDIY makes the CAB359 cable

There is also a guy who hand made his own adapter.

You wont be able to put the power supply in the case.
