Black BIOS Screen
Hi! I recently installed a new graphics card and it works great. I have a problem though. Whenever I start my computer, the television I am using as a monitor says "Error: Monitor does not support refresh rate or resolution"
Shortly after displaying this, I assume the BIOS or POST auto-corrects the output that the graphics card is sending, because the screen promptly displays properly. This is great, although sometimes it doesn't work and I have to shut the computer down and restart it in order for the resolution to adjust itself automatically.
In order to fix this problem, I figured I would just go into BIOS and manually change the resolution that the graphics card is sending to the monitor, however BIOS only shows a black screen and I have no clue how to fix it.
My graphics card is Radeon RX 5700. Thank you for any help.

Always include exact PC model and version of Windows in your posts.
There are no screen resolution settings in BIOS setup on any Dell PC.
Is the TV connected to the new video card and not to the onboard (HDMI?) port on the PC?
Are you powering the TV on before or after powering the PC on?
Do you have the latest driver for the new card installed?
Try this: Right-click an empty area of your Windows desktop and select Display settings. You can set the resolution for the TV there. You'll need to know the "native" (aka: "recommended" or "optimum") resolution the TV uses.
