Certain websites not loading
I use 1.5 yrs old dell inspiron laptop with windows 10 operating system. All of a sudden some websites doesnt load on my laptop. I tried everything from changing dns server settings to flushing dns cache in cmd. This helped with the ones not working earlier(youtube, general google search) but for some reason the sites that worked ok before aren't loading (slack, discord, extramarks, links). It'd be great if someone can help me out

Out of date browsers and or Malware likely.
This is not a dell support issue.
Microsoft Safety Scanner is a scan tool designed to find and remove malware from Windows computers. Simply download it and run a scan to find malware and try to reverse changes made by identified threats.
Download Microsoft Safety Scanner (32-bit)
Download Microsoft Safety Scanner (64-bit)

@Sreelakshmi4 - What browser and did you try to clear its cache and cookies ?
If using Firefox, click Tools>Options and then click Privacy & Security in the left column. There are separate buttons to clear cookies and history, so clear both.
And try a different browser...

I have got rid of the issue by setting DNS to Google’s public DNS.

I've cleared my cache and cookies. I also asked Microsoft for help. 3 different agents took control of my laptop and claimed that they fixed it, but they didn't. Clearing my cache and cookies didn't work either.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner didn't work on my laptop. There are still pages that won't open for me.

@MindyLu8702 - This is a ~3-year-old thread. You should have started a new one, which includes the exact PC model, version of Windows, and the browser you use.
How are you connecting to the internet, Ethernet (wired) or WiFi? If you use a router, does it have software that blocks access to certain sites.
Have you tried a different browser for those sites you can't open?
What antiviral app are you using? Windows Defender (built into Windows) or some other app?
No offense, but has someone installed "parental control" software on this PC to prevent you from opening certain web sites?

Same problem for my dell inspiron 5590 also. wifi also started showing no internet and same wifi internet works in other devices.
After changing the network websites starts loading.
Is it due to network settings issue? if yes, then why it works for only some time.?
