cpu + gpu upgrade inspiron 5680
I want to upgrade my CPU and GPU on my Inspiron 5680 and I don't know if it'll be "compatible".
I currently have intel core i5-8400 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB.
Would it be possible to upgrade it to an intel core i7-9700k and a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Super Gaming 8G and if it is how do I do it?

The CPU absolutely will not be compatible.
The GPU support will depend on the specific card you want to buy - what connectors it requires and what level of power supply.

Would you be able to recommend a CPU + GPU that are better than the ones I have currently (that are also compatible)?

The i7-8700 would be the fastest CPU this board will take. Note: the K version isn't worth the added cost, as it's not all that much faster, will cost more, draws much more power and its main selling point -- that it's unlocked -- is something you can't use in this system.
