Dell G5 - CPU upgrade issue

Question

I have recently purchase a Dell G5 and Im trying to upgrade the Intel Core i3-10105F to a Intel i5-11500.  After installing the i5 the system will not boot and has orange orange white flasing power light.  I then reinstall the i3 and the system boots up fine.  Any advice that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

If you have G5 5000, you can not have Core i3-10105F your correct processor model is Intel Core i3-10100

and correct Chipset is H470 ( Default for G5 5000)

So Intel i5-11500 is not an option, do not install that CPU it may fit the socket but will damage either CPU or motherboard pins.

Core i5-10600K
Core i5-10600KF
Core i7-10700
Core i7-10700K
Core i7-10700F
Core i7-10700KF
Core i9-10900
Core i9-10900K

Diagnostics LED 2,1 Indicates system board failure.  However same system board is working fine with I3    Provide model number

System model number bro ??  Based on Motherboard part number its Dell G5 5090 or correct me if I am wrong.  If it's G5 5090 than rest of the information you have provided seems wrong  Intel H370 support following processors  Your Dell G5 5500 is tested with following processors.  9th Generation Intel Core i39th Generation Intel Core i5/i5k9th Generation Intel Core i7/i7k9th Generation Intel Core i9/i9k You are telling us it had i3-10105F and trying to upgrade to I5 -11500   So once again system model please ?? Exact system model ??
