Dimension E521, BIOS update?
Hi,
The support assistant keeps suggesting a BIOS update with Optiplex 740 system bios. Does any one know if this will work thanks.

Probably not so don’t take the chance. Dimensions are too old for bios updates. To check go to your support page for your exact model. Support assist might not recognize older models. https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/dimension-e521/drivers

And that's a good reason to disable or uninstall SupportAssist. :Wink:
