Inspiron 3250 memory upgrade issue.
I have the 3250 SFF, it has 4gb in it. I wanted to max it at 16, so I bought the below matched memory which should have worked, but all I get is a rinse and repeat of two blink amber, pause.
Not sure if it has anything to do with voltage, because I think what's in it now which is a single 4GB stick. Is 1.35. Whereas what I bought is 1.5. I looked in the Bios. But didn't even see anything related to memory and changing voltages, not that I would really want to mess with that unless I knew what the heck I was doing. Which I generally do, I've just never over / under clocked anything before.

Hoping maybe somebody can help me figure out what's going on before proceeding with an RMA label that I have seven days to use.
Thank you.

If that's DDR3 as advertised, it's never going to work with your system - you need DDR3L memory (low voltage) for your 3250.

Gotcha so it is the 1.35/1.5 thing I suspected.

Found that same exact kit on the Newegg website for a $10 upswing with a 1.35 voltage listing. So I'm going to get that and post back accordingly. But I don't foresee any issues.
Thx again !
