Inspiron 3650, GPU upgrade, GTX 1050?

hi, so I was looking into upgrading my system, which is a Dell Inspiron 3650. it currently uses an NVIDIA GT 730, which is not good at all for certain games I want to play. The problem I have is, the PSU only has 240w. I was looking at some threads with similar problems and seems this card, the Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 ti Mini: https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO  would work. However, it is still unclear to me, and I would like to know whether I can install this card without needing to worry about ugprading my PSU at all. So would my computer work fine if i upgraded it with this card?

Do you have the latest video drivers installed for the GT 730?

They say that Zotac card needs a 300W PSU, so your 240W PSU may not be sufficient.

I see at least one thread where somebody got this card to work in the 3650 but then started having problems, possibly related to the PSU and/or overheating...

You might want to choose a less demanding video card.

People have been successful with 3650 by using short cards, with secure boot off and legacy option roms on in bios.

They also use MODDIY CAB359 24 pin to 8 pin adapter cable and regular power supply

EVGA 500W minimum. This is an Ugly but it works mod.

You remove the Itty Bitty power supply and run the wires from the full size supply into the hole left behind with the unit sitting OUTSIDE the case.

Regular size psu must sit outside the case.

The power Supply is stick sized and the case is sub tiny.
