Inspiron 3670, GTX 1050 Ti, card size

Hello, so my question is I ordered the 3670 Inspirion i5-8400 optane memory version. If I purchase the MSI Geforce GTX 1050 ti, does it matter what size it is? For example, a single fan or double fan one. I dont know the exact measurements because I'm still waiting for the 3670 to arrive. Or is it a universal size and any one will fit in the slot. I'm only asking because Amazon is offering this in different sizes. Some models have 1 fan and some models have 2. I dont want to purchase the wrong one. Someone please help?

the card makers said only true for old cards that failure mode, not new cards. They told me the cards ( sold by 20 makers) all support auto mode now, in THEIR VBIOS.

What dell does ,is any ones guess.  (like restricting only dell cards say on  a dell PC with secureboot enabled)

I am just adding to this thread with more up to date information.

1) You can use any GPU upto about 75W as long as it does not require the extra PCIe power connector. The best card in this category at this time is the GTX-1650 (NOT the 1650 Super which needs more power).

2) The power supply information is correct. I found one for about $64. Here are the part numbers.

Optional OEM 365w PSU =
7VK45 365w, Huntkey
T1M43 365w, Delta

3) IF you upgrade to the OEM 365W power supply, you can install the GTX-1660 Ti or GTX-1660 Super with just a 6pin to 8pin PCIe power adapter. (NOTE: I strongly believe you could also use the RTX-2060 without a problem but I have not tested it. According to testing done at Tom's Hardware, the RTX-2060 NEVER draws more than ~9 Amps on the PCIe power connector, and the 365W PSU provides upto 11 Amps!)

4) No matter what graphics card you install, you do NOT need to make any BIOS changes. Just disconnect power, install the card, and update the drivers. It really is that simple now! (Some threads have incorrect information that claim you need to make changes in your BIOS)

Here is a link to the 6pin to 8pin PCIe adapter I used: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-2-Pack-6-Pin-Adapter/dp/B01DV1Z32Y

Here in 2023, using the 365W PSU (model T1M43 D365EM-00) with a GTX-1660 Super, very successfully. Standard configuration, no overclocking attempt or anything like that. I wouldn't try it with a more powerful GPU, as 365W is already well below Nvidia's recommended config.

The extra cable in the PSU actually came with an 8-pin connector with 2 detachable pins, so it can be used without any adapters with 8-pin or 6-pin GPUs.
