Inspiron, Waves MaxxAudio problem

So I have been having this problem for a while now, and I thought I could fix it but I really have no idea why this is even happening. So basically after I turn on my PC I can not use my speakers immediately. I have to plug my headphones/headsets and have them recognized by MA  then remove them to use my speakers. Why? Why can't I just use my speakers straight away. Keep in my mind this was not a problem for me a few weeks ago and I have no idea why this is a thing. If I am ever without a headset, I have no sound at all.
