Normally no it would not BUT look at the MB layout as this will not fit into a standard ATX case as you can tell by the way the USB ports are mounted for the front of the 3470 case.

JOcean is correct. Dell users are stuck w Dell case now.  No more fun of swapping Dell board to a different case.

I'm still gonna try to attempt to switch cases im just not going to use the front usb ports.

what type of bio's startup error's? i know i could buy a new fio power switch.

quite awkward to use non-Dell case for this board.  some or all mounting holes may not be aligned properly.  your best hope is back IO of this board is still aligned per ATX standard.  you also need to figure out Dell board FIO power sw pinout to be able to turn it on in non-Dell case.  not to mention other bios startup errors you might encounter.

The other problems you can face is connecting the switch on the wrong pin header and getting a unkown error without knowing it you can try first off all by disconnecting the hdd ( to prevent os image to corrupt ) and first you need to find the power headers then after that you need to find the power_ledindicator and then hdd_indicator these are all of them they are on the front i/o power module i know it is kind of complicated but you are trying to do it with force so you can give it a try.
