Just had this issue tonight, I have tried basically everything and nothing us worked. Im using a 660 and I have already Proven that its not the monitor and might be the mother board. Anyone got any ideas?

So no add-in video card is installed? The onboard video ports are disabled if an add-in video card is installed...

Do you see anything on the monitor before the power saving message appears, even if it's just a blinking cursor in upper left corner?

What video port are you using, HDMI or VGA on PC and on monitor?

How did you prove it's not the monitor? Did you test this monitor on a different PC or a different monitor on this PC? Did you use the same video cable and same type video ports either on another PC or with another monitor on this PC?

When was last time you replaced the motherboard battery?

What version of Win 10, v1909, v20H2 or something earlier?

1. No I don't see anything other then the message

2.I mainly use vga used HDMI just to see if the vga cord was busted

3.I used the same two cords to connect to another moniter and a TV and had the same issues

4.I have jot replaced the battery was going to get it checked tomorrow

5.I think its v1909

Need more details:

Do you only have onboard Intel HD Graphics or do you also have an add-in video card?

If you have an add-in video card, is the monitor connected to the card, not to either  onboard Graphics port (HDMI or VGA)?

What type video port are you using?

Version of Windows?

I'd clear BIOS and replace the battery before going any further, if nothing else than to rule the battery out for ~$2.

  1. Power off, unplug
  2. Press/hold power button for ~15 sec
  3. Open case and remove motherboard battery (check Service Manual for details)
  4. Press/hold power button for ~30 sec
  5. Install fresh CR2032 3-volt coin cell battery
  6. Close up and connect mouse, monitor and keyboard
  7. Reboot
