Problem with wifi card
I have a Dell Inspiron - service tag and the wifi card appears to have stopped working.
Is there any way I can check the card.
If not is the card easy to replace and if so where can I buy one and how much is it.
I am typing this from my Dell XPS lap top which is sitting next to my Inspiron so I know I can get wifi at this position.
Thanks.

Post the exact PC model and version of Windows. (Never post your Service Tag.)
Did you recently update the WiFi driver or install any Windows updates?
Do you get an error message for the WiFi card or...?
Do other devices on your WiFi network still work?
Have you tried rebooting the router (and modem, if separate)?
Open Device Manager and find the entry for the WiFi card. Is it marked with a red X or yellow ! ? Is the card still enabled? Does Device Manager report that it's "working normally"?

Check your cards drivers, or delete the driver and re-install it

Welcome to the Dell Community @clementipor
To better assist you, we would need the exact model number of your laptop/desktop???
Identify your Dell:

Easiest fix for Windows 7 or 8 or 10 is to remove the card and use USB WIFI.

No driver install needed for windows 8 or 10.
