Upgrade CPU, GPU, and RAM
Hello,
I want to upgrade CPU, GPU, and RAM. I currently have the base Dell Inspiron 5000 desk top.
System Model Inspiron 5680
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
8 GB of RAM installed.
I want to know if the i7-8700k 3.70GHz is a compatible CPU, RTX GEFORCE 2080, and how much RAM I can install total.
I know I will have to upgrade power. Want to make sure I can do these upgrades.

It's not a matter of compatibility. The question (aside from PSU) is whether your board and components can adequately cool an unlocked CPU. e.g., do you have heatsinks on the VRMs, is your AIO or heatsink/fan sufficient - a stock 65W air cooler would be a no.
