7501 overheating - system replacement inferior??

Hi everyone, I bought inspiron 7501 on June 24 and since day one It was overheating while I was using basic games. The temperature inside gets to 100 C and outside gets to 54 C, It gets so hot that it is hard to hold and use the keyboard.

I contacted Dell, they did many tests and they sent a technician to replace some pieces. I tested the laptop again in front of the technician and it was still overheating and He said he couldn't do anything, his job was only replace the pieces. So the problem wasn't solve and the technician made some scratches on my laptop.

I contacted Dell again and they decied to replacement my system, but they don't have the 7501 anymore, they offered me 2 options that wasn't touch screen. I said my priorities are touch screen and battery 6 cells.

They took weeks to answer me, and now they are offering me 7506

I don't think it is a fair replacement, I would like to see the opinios of others.

the replacement is 11 generation processor, but from 10 to 11, doesn't change much. The video is much inferior of the one I have, I'll change a geforce 1650 for intel Xe Max, also the battery what I had is 6 cells and this one is 4 cells.

Look yourself the difference bellow, and tell me if you think it is a good deal or not, please.

the other option they gave is for me waiting until Oct 30, so they will replace the pieces.

Do you think if replace the pieces would actually solve the problem? Once they did it already and didn't solve?

I'm very disappointed with Dell, I have Dell since 2007 and recommended to my friends and family, now never anymore.

Please give me your opinion, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

but it is only for casual games, I just played sometimes, very basic games, such as Minecraft, florest, games that the system requirements is very low. I don't play nothing too heavy, even that overheating a lot a lot.

But do you think this option they offered me is fair from the one I have or not?

for me the video and the battery is inferior, it isn't compatible.

Neither system is designed for anything but casual gaming.  For anything more than that, there is the G-series, and for anything involving serious gaming, the Alienware models are available.

I don't think you'll find any Inspiron systems outside the G series suitable for what you want to do.  Whether you can negotiate a paid upgrade to a more suitable system is something you'll need to pursue with Dell -- but as you'd expect, the entry level for gaming is a price and feature point above where you purchased the 7501.

surely a fair replacement should have at least a 1650ti?
Also for thin and light laptops, the intel H series chips can get hot as they have a higher tdp, use more power, and are aimed more at content creation and gaming than chips like the i7 1165g7 which can be set as low as 12watts not 45 like an h series

So Do you think if I replace for this option, the overheating issue would be solved?

Yes this model doesn't have discrete GPU, so it would heat less and would give better battery backup even with 4 cell battery
