Hi guys reading and googleing but i cant find solution...

So after 6years my battery needed replacement. Ordered replacement one but now i got message about permanent failure. Standard issue i guess. Batter indicator is ok, 100% charged but if i remove AC laptop turns down. Tried with updateing BIOS but no luck..

Any solution?

Dell computers need genuine Dell batteries. Third party batteries can damage the computer. You probably will not find a new dell battery for a 6 yr old laptop at Dell or Dell Parts--but do a search to see. Try removing the new battery and use the adapter alone. If that works, use it as a desktop replacement until you buy a new computer if the laptop is not damaged.

Always post your exact model computer for help with a problem.
