Battery replacement issues

I am very sorry to come back at it.

I've just replaced my battery on my laptop Inspiron 7566. At the first boot Bios system blocked the boot and started to perform diagnosis after displaying the message about service tag and Battery life.

I saw some online guidelines that suggest to update all system drivers and bios, power off the laptop, remove ac, remove battery, power on and boot with ac, power off and reinstall the battery without ac, and finally power on. Nothing happens and I just start working. During the session battery starts to charge randomly, so I restarted the system. The pc booted normally, without any problem.

But after the second boot (that was good) the system continued not to recognize the battery. I really have any idea of what's going on. I repeated many times the procedure with ac cable, but nothing, the system doesn't want to recognize the battery, that tags as not an original part and in it's end life. My pc is a 7566 dell inspiron 7000 gaming series. The original battery had the same sticker on it, wattage and voltage are the same. I really have problems with this item and also the system is much more slower. It's like impossible working on it. Another thing is that the front led is blinking as warning about something.

Only the newest (also original battery) Isn't recognized. For example now the boot has gone well. But the led.in front is off, also if the ac adapter is on.

Check the connector to be sure the battery is firmly connected to the system board.  If it is and it's unrecognized, there are two possibilities:  the battery is not compatible with your system, or it's faulty.

You can request  a warranty replacement if you wish - but the surer bet would be to send the battery for a refund, and order an OEM battery.

If the original battery was recognized, but the new one is not - and the new battery isn't OEM, the battery is the problem.  You can source an OEM battery here:

If the original battery and the new battery both are not recognized by the system, you likely have a mainboard problem.
