Beeping and black screen
I have an old Alienware 14 that has been causing plenty of problems. Today when I turned it on for some reason I had a black screen with 2 beeps every 2 seconds. I turned it on and off and it worked afterwards but I'm still worried. It could happen again. What could be the problem?

Two beeps means no memory detected.
Unplug the system, disconnect the battery and hold the power button 30 sec. Remove and reinstall the memory module(s). Plug in the battery and powerup.
If the problem recurs, post back for more troubleshooting procedure.
