Bios issue
Hi everyone,
Many of us are facing serious issues with BIOS updates (v1.23 & v1.26) — overheating, driver problems, and no downgrade file for v1.22. Dell has even removed these BIOS versions from their website, yet we are still stuck with them.
I have already raised this issue on Twitter/X to get attention from Dell and consumer authorities. It would be very helpful if everyone here could reshare (retweet) my post and also reply with your problems on that tweet, so Dell can see this is affecting many users, not just one.
Here’s the tweet link: https://x.com/FaizanPatel_x/status/1968541273410953406?t=XifZKqAjkqDD2i0hlras3Q&s=19
The more voices we have together, the stronger our case will be. Let’s push for Dell to release the proper fix/downgrade file.
Thanks

Dell users are reporting serious issues with BIOS updates v1.23 and v1.26, including overheating and driver problems. Dell has since removed these versions from its website, which is a common practice when they discover critical bugs. However, users are often unable to downgrade because newer BIOS versions with security patches are locked to prevent a rollback. The best solution is to check myfordbenefits your Dell model's support page for a newer, more stable BIOS version that was released to fix the issues with v1.23 and v1.26. While waiting for an official fix, you can also try some basic troubleshooting, such as cleaning your laptop's vents, ensuring all other drivers are up to date, and using the Dell Power Manager to adjust your thermal settings.
