Black screen at startup after installing updates.
I installed windows updates and avast driver updates. Now my screen is black. I've tried pressing f2, f8, f12, and even control and escape for the bios screen but I can't even get that. What do I do? I have a dell inspiron 15 touch screen laptop.

Press and hold the D key and power on the computer to enter LCD built-in self-test (BIST) mode.
Continue to hold the D key, until you see color bars on the LCD (screen).
Do you see the color bars???

I got color screens. It flashed red then green and so on.
